Do I Have To Commit 100% To Potty Training?
Ready to tackle potty training? Jump in! It’s time to get that kid into some big kid undies!
“Potty training is life!” How does that thought strike you? A bit weird, huh?
Well, when you decide it’s time to potty-train , potty training MUST be your life for a few days. It absolutely MUST be!
You need to be “100% commited”! You’ve got to commit to ONLY concentrating on potty training as you start.Life as you know it must come to a halt. (Which truly is a pleasant break if you think about it.)
Therefore pick a long weekend to start potty training. I suggest starting on a Friday morning so that you can have the entire weekend to reinforce the newly learned ability. Cancel all plans and try not to leave the house. On the 1st day, I advise sending brothers and sisters to grandma’s or to a friend’s house. You want no distractions. Nothing should take your attention away from the task at hand, potty training!
You are a Potty Training Master! Who ‘woulda ‘ thought , huh?
When you make potty training your life for a few days, life as you knew it will return and you will have a potty-trained big kid along for the ride!
Truly, this is the ONLY way to go when potty training. Don’t be one of the countless annoyed parents I’ve talked to who neglected to make potty training their life and were feeling the effect of that poor decision!
Potty training can drag out if you do not focus intently on it for one or two days. Don’t worry, this will go much quicker than you might think. And, before you know it, voila, you may have a potty trained kid. No more stinky, filthy diapers to change, no more mess.
Just consider how that’ll feel!
