Throuhout the wasps season The Waspman will be destroying wasps nests throughout Cheshire, Lancashire for a set of only thirty-two pounds (£44.50 for postcodes (CH, CW & L).
The Waspman operate seven days per week including Saturdays, Sundays and evenings and do not charge an extra for evening and weekend jobs.
Wasps nests can usually be destroyed from the outside of the building by injecting a small quantity of insecticide into the entrance hole using a special device.
It is necessary to get a wasps’ nest destroyed before mid-september when the new queens which will make next year’s nests start to be born. Once this commences simply destoying the nest will not kill these new queens as they are no longer going back to the nest. A single nest can create around 2000 queens.
In the wasp season we give priority to wasp calls as we know that many people suffer badly from wasps stings and it is important to destroy the nest as quickly as possible. We do our very best to provide a rapid same day service but this is clearly constrained by how much work we have on.
It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasp nest itself as it can’t be used again and, being built from purely of paper will crumble away of its own accord.
